"Frenchman, Simon Cardon (Morzine, France), has taken out the elite men’s field at round 1 of the KWT Maxxis Sunshine Series at Beerburrum. After qualifying in 2nd place behind local rider Damien Bogatek (Wurtula), Cardon completed the 1.05km course in 1minute, 50 seconds. Defending series leader, Lindsay Klein (Hawthorne) came in 2nd behind Cardon."
